About Holly

"Maps become far more than expressions of cartography; they become holders of our memories…"

— Tasker, 1999

I’ve always been drawn to maps — not just for their practical use, but for their power to tell stories. They mark where we’ve been, where we’ve loved, where we’ve pushed our limits.

As a jeweller and silversmith based in Sheffield, I turn those personal landscapes into wearable and sculptural pieces. Each one is made by hand in my workshop at Yorkshire Artspace, where I’ve been based since 2018, using traditional techniques to transform your chosen location into something tactile and lasting.

My love of the outdoors runs deep — shaped by a childhood of orienteering and kayaking, and now by trail and fell running across the Eastern edges of the Peak District. The movement, solitude, and ever-changing terrain feed directly into my work: topographic lines that flow like paths underfoot, engraved markings like route notations, and miniature waypoints that hold memory in metal.

Since graduating from the Birmingham School of Jewellery in 2016, I’ve been developing Contour Map Collection — creating jewellery and wall pieces that celebrate life’s meaningful places and moments. Whether it’s home, a summit, or a race finish line, each piece is a personal marker of where your story lives.
