Wootton Courtenay Pendant

This one-of-a-kind silver pendant was commissioned to celebrate a wedding anniversary, marking the landscape where the couple were married—on a farm near Wootton Courtenay in Somerset.

The design follows the hand-cut contours of the land itself, shaped in silver to reflect every ridge and hollow of the terrain. A single 18ct gold granule marks the exact spot where their ceremony took place, anchoring a cherished memory in precious metal. On the reverse, the date of their wedding is delicately engraved, a quiet detail held close to the wearer.

More than jewellery, this pendant is a wearable piece of landscape and love; a celebration of place, memory and time. Made by hand in my Sheffield studio, it reflects my ongoing fascination with how we map meaning onto the land, and how those places become part of us.
